French stock market index down 2.27 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 2.27 percent to close at 4,604.64 points on Tuesday, down 106.90 points.

Investors feeling hopeless about the negotiations between Greece and its creditors, the CAC 40 of Paris closed with another huge drop, and all of the 40 selected companies experienced decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were Technip, down 8.27 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 6.41 percent, and Peugeot, down 4.68 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 2.01 percent to close at 4,711.54 points, down 96.68 points. Endit
