Fluminense to sign ex-Brazil forward Osvaldo

Fluminense are set to sign former Brazil international forward Osvaldo from Al-Ahli, according to local media reports.

The 28-year-old was due to undergo a medical in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday before signing a contract, Brazilian football news portal Sambafoot said on Monday.

Osvaldo, capped twice for Brazil at international level, joined Al-Ahli from Sao Paulo in January and has scored two goals in 16 appearances for the Saudi Arabian outfit.

Former West Ham attacker Wellington Paulista is also expected to join Fluminense from their Brazilian Serie A rivals Coritiba.

Fluminense are currently fourth in Brazil's Serie A standings with 21 points from 11 matches. Endi
