"Jurassic World" stays atop box office charts

Dinosaur action flick "Jurassic World" remained unrivaled at China's box office charts for the week ending June 28, earning 233 million yuan (about 37.6 million U.S. dollars).
The fourth film in the "Jurassic Park" series, which stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, has grossed about 1.27 billion yuan after roaring onto Chinese screens on June 10.
Chinese action film "SPL2: A Time for Consequences" reaped 194 million yuan, maintaining second place, China Film News reported Thursday. After opening on June 18, the film has grossed more than 463 million yuan.
The third spot went to comedy-action film "Hollywood Adventures." The film pulled in 170 million yuan after opening on June 26.
American fantasy-adventure "Insurgent" came in fourth, grossing 42.4 million yuan in the week. The total ticket sales of the film reached 98.4 million yuan on June 28 since opening on June 19.
Rounding out the top five was disaster epic "San Andreas", which pulled in 41.8 million yuan in the week. Its total box office stood at 621.7 million yuan on June 28 after opening on June 2. Endi
