Dollar trades at upper 122 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 122 yen zone in early Tokyo deals on Tuesday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 122.67-69 yen compared with 122.49-59 yen in New York and 122.91-93 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.

The euro fetched 1.1217-1218 dollars and 137.61-63 yen against 1.1232-1242 dollars and 137.76-86 yen in New York and 1.1070-1071 dollars and 136.06-10 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. Endi
