More than 200,000 people have visited the exhibition "In Memoriam: Lee Kuan Yew" at the National Museum of Singapore since it opened to the public, local media reported on Monday.

The exhibition also saw a large number of visitors on Sunday, which is the last day for the show.

The memorial exhibition, which pays tribute to Singapore's former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, received overwhelming response, and visiting time has been extended for several times, according to the reports.

Opened to the public on March 25, the exhibition featured a selection of photographic images and audiovisual recordings, as well as artifacts from the National Collection, which chronicled Lee Kuan Yew's life and political career.

The founding prime minister of Singapore passed away on March 23 at the age of 91. Endi
