Indonesia condemns terrorist attacks in Kuwait, Tunisia, France

The Indonesian government condemned the terrorist attacks which took place in Kuwait, Tunisia and France on Friday last week that claimed tens of civilian lives, a statement released by the Indonesian foreign affairs ministry said on Monday.

"The Indonesian government conveys its deepest condolences and sympathy to the governments of Kuwait, Tunisia, France and the relatives of the victims. These attacks that happened on the same day are appalling reminders that terrorist threat bind to no borders," the statement said.

The deadly attacks that took place in the three countries have claimed over 60 lives, according to media reports, though it is not known yet whether they are connected.

Indonesian embassies in Kuwait, Tunisia and France reported that no Indonesian citizens were victims of these attacks, the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian government reminded nationals traveling abroad to heighten their awareness and avoid possible terrorist target places, as well as not to be involved in any radical groups. Endi
