Turan Tweet points to Atletico departure

Xinhua, June 29, 2015 Adjust font size:

Turkish international Arda Turan looks almost certain to be leaving Atletico Madrid this summer after confirming that he has several offers from clubs in Europe.

Turan has been linked with several clubs already this summer, including Chelsea, Manchester United and even FC Barcelona and has already implied that his time at the Vicente Calderon Stadium has come to an end after four years which saw him become the first Turkish players to win a BBVA Primera Liga champions medal.

His form since joining Atletico in 2011 has made him popular with the club, but it looks as if the Atletico fans will have to prepare to say goodbye to the 28 year-old winger.

"The numerous rumors of transfers are not all correct," said Turan on his Twitter account, however, he added that his agent was "in contact with three or four clubs."

Atletico have already been busy in this summer's transfer market, signing Colombian striker Jackson Martinez and Villarreal's Luciano Vietto since the season ended in May. Endit
