French stock market index up 0.35 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a slight advance of 0.35 percent at 5,059.17 points on Friday, up 17.46 points.

The CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Friday with 25 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Friday were Unibail-Rodamco, up 1.74 percent, Valeo, up 1.65 percent, and Peugeot, up 1.44 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Friday was Accor, down 1.22 percent, Technip, down 1.21 percent, and Vivendi, down 1.15 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a slight decrease of 0.07 percent at 5,041.71 points, down 3.64 points. Endit
