One killed in light aircraft crash in Lithuanian town

One casualty has been reported by local media after a small aircraft crashed in Alytus aerodrome, southern Lithuania, on Friday.

Local media reported the deceased was 58-year-old Vytautas Galvonas, former member of the Lithuanian parliament and president of Lithuanian federation of acrobatic flying.

Earlier the same day, firefighters were summoned to the aerodrome for an incident which happened at a training practice. Endit
