Urgent: U.S. dollar falls despite upbeat data

The U.S. dollar dropped against most major currencies on Thursday despite positive economic data from the country.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1203 dollars from 1.1202 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 123.61 Japanese yen, lower than 123.84 yen of the previous session. Endite
