Boeing names Muilenburg as new CEO

The world's largest aerospace company Boeing Corp. has elected Dennis A. Muilenburg as its new chief executive officer, the leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space systems said Tuesday.

Muilenburg, aged 51, will succeed W. James McNerney as the new CEO as from July 1. McNerney continues as the chairman of the board.

Muilenburg has served as Boeing president and chief operating officer since 2013, and is a 30-year Boeing veteran. Endite
