Roger Federer beats Andreas Seppi in Halle Open final

Roger Federer overcame Andreas Seppi in two straight sets to reap his 8th Halle Open title on Sunday.
Federer wrapped up his 8th title after one hour and 48 minutes as he defeated Italian Andreas Seppi in two straight sets, 7-6 (7-1), 6-4, in his 10th Halle Open final. It is Federer's third straight title in Halle. The top-seeded took besides that revenge on Seppi, who eliminated Federer in the Australian Open at the round of the last 16.
Seppi caught a bright start into the first set, as he was able to set Federer under pressure. However, the Italian squandered three break balls, including one set point, allowing the defending champion to reach the tiebreak.
Federer turned up in the tiebreak crushing Seppi 7-1 to put the first set beyong doubt. The Italian, who reached his second final of the year, remained active and worked out more break chances at the second set. Nevertheless, Federer continued to show his best Tennis in critical situations.
The Worlds number two again turned up in the deciding moments to secure the second set 6-4 with an overhead smash. It is his 86 victory on the ATP-Tour and the perfect preparation for the Wimbledon Championships starting on June 29.
"This is the first time that I have won a tournament eight times and its one of my favourite tournaments too. It was a really good match. My serve saved me once or twice in the first set," Federer said. Endi
