Zambia names final team to face Namibia in CHAN qualifier

Stand-in head coach of the Zambia national soccer team George Lwandamina has named his final 18-man squad to face Namibia in the first round first leg African Nations Championship (CHAN) encounter against Namibia, the country's soccer governing body said in a statement on Friday.

The Zambian trainer has named his final squad that will face the Brave Warriors at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on Sunday for the 2016 CHAN qualifiers. The CHAN tournament is open only to players who play their trade in their country's domestic leagues, according to the statement posted on the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) website.

The Zambian trainer has dropped six players from his initial squad he had assembled previously.

The full squad includes goalkeepers Danny Munyao (Red Arrows), Jacob Banda (Zesco United).

Defenders: Christopher Munthali (Power Dynamos), Donashano Malama (Nkana), Fackson Kapumbu (Zanaco), Bronson Chama (Red Arrows).

Midfielders: Justin Zulu, Kondwani Mtonga (Zesco United), Paul Katema (Red Arrows), Jack Chirwa, Allan Mukuka, Buchizye Mfune (Green Buffaloes), Charles Zulu (Zanaco).

Strikers: Patrick Ngoma (Red Arrows), Jimmy Ndhlovu (Power Dynamos), Patson Daka (Nchanga Rangers), Jackson Mwanza and Winston Kalengo (Zesco United). Endi
