Botswana president to visit France

Botswana President Seretse Khama Ian Khama will pay an official visit to France from June 22 to 25, Botswana Office of the President said on Friday.

During his visit, Khama will have meetings with his French counterpart Francois Hollande and senior government officials for ecology, sustainable development and energy, foreign affairs, and defence and security, said the office in a statement.

Khama will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security and the Minister of Environment, Wildlife and Tourism, and other senior government officials, according to the statement.

Botswana's diplomatic relations with France was established in 1967. France has a Resident Mission in Gaborone which was opened in July 2001. Endi
