BiH, Austria to enhance economic cooperation

Xinhua, June 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of the Council of Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), held talks here on Thursday with visiting Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz over economic cooperation.

They were satisfied with the development of bilateral relations. Both expected cooperation in all fields to be further enhanced between the two sides.

Zvizdic noted BiH is actively working to improve the business climate and carry out reforms to draw more foreign investors. Kurz hoped more Austrian companies will invest in BiH.

They also discussed the upcoming meeting of the Heads of Government of the Western Balkans to be held in Vienna in August, which will be dedicated to regional cooperation and infrastructure projects.

Austria is one of the top investors in BiH, with some 550 Austrian companies operating in the Balkan country, according to official data. Endit
