Since the ancient times, people have argued whether or not ghosts exist. The fear of ghosts is influencing people's lives.

In many old houses, even the imperial palaces like the Forbidden City in Beijing, it is said that during the night you may hear the ensemble of traditional stringed and woodwind instruments with a young woman ruefully reciting poems. Sometimes, you may see the court ladies and eunuchs walking by in a line or you may run across ghosts floating around.
