Australia bests hosts Kyrgyzstan 2-1 in FIFA World Cup qualifying

Australia defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-1 in the FIFA Russia World Cup Asian Zone Group B qualifying campaign in Kyrgyz Dolen Omurzakov Stadium here on Tuesday.

Australia made their first score in the second minute by Mile Jeninak' s free-kick. 65 minutes later, Australian substitute Tommy Oar got another chance and penetrated the Kyrgyz defence and made the second goal.

At the time of injury, Kyrgyz player Azamat Baymatov received a cross delivered by his teammate and scored on a header.

After the game, the Kyrgyz coach, Aleksandr Krestinin said in the press conference that he was disappointed with the result. Meanwhile the Australian coach Ange Postecoglou was happy with the match and said "it was a good game. Congratulations to the team of Kyrgyzstan. Their fans really helped my players - driven forward, gave my players energy."

It was the second game of the national team of Kyrgyzstan in the qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup. The first match was against the national team of Bangladesh in Dhaka. It ended with the score 1-3 in favor of the Kyrgyz players. Endi
