An Indian Air Force's Jaguar trainer aircraft Tuesday crashed in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, a senior defense official said.

"The aircraft crashed near the town of Allahabad while it was on a routine sortie. But, both the pilots ejected safely," he said, on condition of anonymity, adding a probe has been ordered into the incident.

This is the second crash of a Jaguar aircraft this year, the first being in March in the northern state of Haryana. Endi
