Urgent: Sudan's Bashir attends AU summit in Johannesburg despite ICC arrest warrant

Sudanese President Omar al- Bashir on Sunday joined a group photograph of leaders in Johannesburg ahead of the 25th African Union summit despite a warrant for his arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

The Pretoria High Court has issued an order preventing al- Bashir from leaving South Africa, saying al-Bashir should not leave the country until an urgent application to have him arrested has been heard. Endi
