International police body Interpol announced Friday that they were suspending a 10-year partnership deal with FIFA. The deal worth 20 million euros.

The deal was set up in May 2011, named "Integrity in Sport". "In light of the current context surrounding FIFA, while Interpol is still committed to developing our Integrity in Sport programme, I have decided to suspend the agreement," said Interpol boss Juergen Stock in a statement. SANAA -- Warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition forces bombed a historical site inscribed on the UN World Heritage List in Yemen's capital Sanaa on Friday and killed at least six civilians, a security source told Xinhua.

"They bombed the Old City of Sanaa in the city center, killing at least six civilians and wounded several others. At least five houses in the historical site were destroyed, and many buildings in the old city were damaged," the security official told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. NEW DELHI -- At least 25 passengers were killed and several others sustained burn injuries after a high- voltage power line fell on a bus in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan Friday, a senior police official said.

"The mishap happened in the state's Tonk district when some 50 people were going to a marriage function. The power wire suddenly snapped and fell on the bus," he said on condition of anonymity. (India-Road-Mishap)

YANGON -- Myanmar 's parliament on Friday approved a proposal to invest 264.5 million U.S. dollars in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), parliament sources said.

According to U Win Shein, minister of Finance and Revenue, 20 percent or 52.9 million dollars of the investment amount will be contributed to the bank by Myanmar at the initial stage every year for 10 years. (Myanmar-AIIB-Investment)

LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan -- A clash between security forces and Taliban militants has claimed 40 lives of the armed insurgents in Taliban former stronghold southern Helmand province on Friday, a senior army officer in the province, Bridediar Abdul Wadood said.

"The bloody clash erupted in Sarwan Qala district when a group of Taliban rebels attacked three security checkpoints in Sadozai area early Friday morning and security forces retaliated triggering gun battle during which 40 rebels have been killed and 16 others injured forcing the militants to flee away," Abdul Wadood told reporters here.
