Xinhua, June 12, 2015 Adjust font size:

Thailand rallied from one goal down to beat Cote d'Ivoire 3-2 in the women's World Cup in Canada on Thursday.

Swept 10-0 by Germany in last game, the African girls jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead just four minutes after kick-off. Ange Nguessan scored the first ever goal for Cote d'Ivoire in the World Cup finals.

About 20 minutes later, however, Orathai Srimanee also netted Thailand's first goal in the tournament, before she headed home on the stroke of half-time.

Thailand sealed the win with a Thanatta Chawong effort in the 75th minute before Nahi Josee grabbed a late goal for Cote d'Ivoire in 88th minute. Endi
