Dollar changes hands at upper 122 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 122 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 122.91-93 yen compared with 122.63-73 yen in New York and 122.70-72 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1307-1311 dollars and 139.00-02 yen against 1.1317-1327 dollars and 138.85-95 yen in New York and 1.1360-1361 dollars and 139.39-43 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endi
