Brazil beat South Korea 2-0 on Tuesday when two records of the Women's World Cup were refreshed.

Formiga, 37, scored the opening goal for Brazil in the first half and became the oldest ever goalscorer in the tournament's history.

In the second half, Marta's penalty marked her 15th career World Cup goal, breaking the record by retired German star Brigit Prinz.

South Korea's next match will be against Costa Rica on Saturday who had just tied with Spain 1-1. Endt
