Sami Khedira joins in Juve

The Italian champion Juventus announced Tuesday that Sami Khedira is to leave Real Madrid to land in Italy.

The German international midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Italian club, and will fight for the defeated European Cup finalists till the end of June, 2019.

Born in Suttgart of Germany, the 28-year-old had been in Real Madrid since the summer of 2010. In the last five seasons, he has been the members of winners in Spanish La Liga, the Copa del Rey (twice), the Spanish Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Champions League and the Club World Cup. ( He is also a member of the German squad which won the World Cup in 2014.

Barcelona defeated Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League final last Saturday in Berlin.

Khedira is probably expected to take the place of Andrea Pirlo. Endit
