Xinhua launches updated mobile app

Xinhua News Agency launched a new version of its mobile news app on Monday.

The new app will provide over 1,000 items of news every day in the form of stories, photos, charts and videos. It is compatible with Apple Watches and other high-tech products.

Users can access information services based on geographical position recognition. They can interact with over 3,000 Xinhua correspondents all over the world.

The new app has made 118 improvements from the previous version and will become a leading online news platform in China, Xinhua President Cai Mingzhao said at the launch ceremony. Endi
