Two killed in plane crash in northeastern Croatia

Two people were killed in an ultra-light plane crash near Vrbovec in northeastern Croatia on Sunday afternoon, local newspaper Vecernji List reported.

The plane crashed during an air show at the airport in Zvekovac near Vrbovec, it said.

The causes of the accident was not clear at the moment and the investigation was underway.

According to unofficial information, the engine of the plane reportedly failed before it crashed. Endit
