5 killed as gunmen attack shop in SW Pakistan

At least five people were killed when some unknown gunmen opened fire at a shop in Pakistan's southwest Quetta city on Sunday afternoon, local media reported.

Dunya TV said that the gunmen riding motorbikes fired at the shop located in Meezan Chowk area of Quetta, the capital city of the country's southwest Balochistan province.

Two people including a father and his son died right at the spot while three others got injured in the firing.

The wounded people were shifted to a nearby hospital where all three of them succumbed to injuries.

Police said that an investigation into the incident has begun, adding it is likely an incident of sectarian attack.

The attackers fled the scene following the firing.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Endi
