Thailand's Intanon wins women's singles at Indonesia Open

Thailand's Intanon Ratchanok beat Japan's Yui Hashimoto in the women's singles final at the BCA Indonesia Open Super Series at Istora Senayan Jakarta on Sunday.

Intanon pocketed 60,000 U.S. dollars in prize for the 21-12, 21-10 victory.

The sixth-seeded Thai reached the final with an upset 21-19, 21-13 win over Chinese Wang Shixian.

Hashimoto beat China's Wang Yihan 21-17, 9-21, 21-17 in Saturday's other semifinal. Endi
