Urgent: U.S. dollar rises on positive jobless report

The U.S. dollar climbed against most major currencies on Thursday as a jobless report from the country came out positive.

In late New York trading, the euro dropped to 1.1247 dollars from 1.1250 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 124.36 Japanese yen, higher than 124.35 yen of the previous session. Endite
