Tajik U16 team to play friendly matches in Kazakhstan

Tajik U-16 team will play friendly matches at the 8th international football tournament Kazakh President's Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan, from June 22 to 26, Tajikistan's Football Federation (TFF) said Wednesday.

Tajikistan has been drawn in Group A with Spain, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Group B consists of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Russia-2 and Georgia.

The tournament's prize money is of 20,000 U. S. dollars, from which the gold medalist team will get 10,000 U.S. dollars, silver medalist team 6,000, and bronze medalist team 4,000.

Last year, Tajikistan took the third place of the tournament. Endite
