French stock market index up 0.35 pct on Mon.

The French stock market benchmark index, CAC 40, closed with a slight advance of 0.35 percent at 5,025.30 points on Monday, up 17.41 points.

With good economic indicators from Spain, and a possible agreement from Greece, the CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Monday with 26 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Monday were Airbus Group, up 1.68 percent, Pernod Ricard, up 1.64 percent, and Valeo, up 1.41 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Monday were Bouygues and Solvay, down 0.91 percent, and Peugeot, down 0.76 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with a huge decrease of 2.53 percent at 5,007.89 points, down 129.94 points. Endit
