-- The European Commission in Brussels will sue Germany for the car toll to the European Court.
"We will initiate an infringement procedure against Germany because of the car toll, because it discriminated against foreign drivers and therefore against EU law," as it said in informed circles of the Commission.
Sueddeutsche Zeitung:
-- The Greeks withdraw further large amounts of money from their bank accounts due to the uncertain financial situation. As the Athenians Central Bank announced on Friday, the deposits of households and enterprises in Greek banks decreased alone in April this year by 4.9 billion euros (about 5.34 billion U.S. dollars) to 133.6 billion euros.
