Investigation into Hanergy underway: HK regulators

Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission said Thursday that a formal investigation into the affairs of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group "has been active and is continuing."

The commission said that the statement is issued in accordance with the commission's disclosure policy given the public interest following reports denying such measures have been taken.

The commission added that it will make no further comment about the investigation.

Shares of Hanergy Thin Film Power Group were halted on May 20 after plunging 47 percent. Endi
