Germany's benchmark DAX index rebounds

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Wednesday rebounded and went up by nearly 150 points.

The blue-chip index added 146 points, or 1.26 percent and closed at 11,771.13 points.

All of the 30 DAX member shares rose on Wednesday.

K+S Aktiengesellschaft, a supplier of standard and speciality fertilizers led the risers' list, up by 3.63 percent. Beiersdorf Aktiengesellschaft, a personal care company, advanced by 2.6 percent. HeidelbergCement AG added 2.3 percent.

The turnover stood at 4.29 billion euros (around 4.68 billion U.S. dollars ). Bayer AG was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 381.32 million euros. Endit
