Lesotho's King visits Algeria to boost bilateral cooperation

Lesotho's King Letsie III begun on Tuesday a three-day visit to Algeria at the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

King Letsie III held talks with Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, as they discussed ways to boost bilateral relations. The meeting was attended by top officials of the two delegations.

King Letsie III will also meet President Bouteflika. A statement of the President office noted that the talks betweene Letsie III and Bouteflika would "further strengthen the decade long bonds of brotherhood and solidarity that unite both nations."

The two leaders would exchange views on issues of common interest, including the situation in Africa, the statement added. Endit
