Urgent: U.S. dollar rises against other currencies

The U.S. dollar gained against other currencies Tuesday as upbeat economic data boosted U.S. rate hike forecast.

In late New York trading, the euro moved down to 1.0867 dollars from 1.1012 dollars in the previous session. The dollar bought 123. 08 Japanese yen, higher than 121.53 yen of the previous session. Endite
