AFC U-14 football festival kicks off in Tajikistan

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-14 football festival for Central and South Asian region kicked off at Istiqlol Academy in Almosi village of Hissar district on Friday.

According to Tajikistan's Football Federation (TFF), seven teams from Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan attended the festival.

The teams are divided into two groups. Following the draw on Thursday:

Group A: Tajikistan, Iran, India, Sri Lanka.

Group B: Afghanistan, Nepal and Pakistan.

The Tajik U-14 team, under the guidance of the coach Nosir Khamidov, will open its Group A campaign against Iran on Friday.

Then, Tajikistan will face India on Saturday and Sri Lanka on Monday. Endi
