Fluminense appoint Moreira as coach

Xinhua, May 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

Fluminense have appointed Enderson Moreira as their coach for a second time, the Brazilian club said on Thursday.

The 43-year-old replaces Ricardo Drubscky, who parted ways with the Rio de Janeiro outfit on Wednesday after less than two months in the role.

In a statement on the club's official website, Fluminense said Moreira's contract would last at least until the end of 2015.

Moreira also coached the club in 2011, when he guided the team to the knockout phase of the Copa Libertadores, South America's top club competition.

His last coaching position, with Atletico Parananese, ended in March when he was sacked after just 34 days.

Fluminense are currently 11th in Brazil's 20-team Serie A standings with a win and a loss from two matches. Endi
