The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has canceled its earlier approval of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon' s Thursday visit to the Kaesong Industrial Complex.
Ban was quoted by Yonhap News Agency as saying in a speech for a forum in Seoul that Pyongyang "suddenly" notified him of the cancellation through diplomatic channels earlier in the morning without any explanations.(DPRK-Ban Ki-moon-Visit)

KUALA LUMPUR -- The foreign ministers of Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand met Wednesday in Putrajaya to discuss the issue of irregular movement of migrants into the three countries, agreeing to implement some interim measures to tackle the current boat- people crisis.

TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Wednesday rejected to recognize a rule of the Potsdam Proclamation which said the war Japan waged over 70 years ago is an aggression war, even declined to comment on whether the war was right or wrong.
During a Diet debate between Japanese political parties, the head of the Japanese Communist Party Kazuo Shii asked Abe to make a comment on the Potsdam Proclamation which said the war Japan waged falls into the category of aggression which aimed at occupy the world.

COLOMBO -- Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday said that he will not allow international investigators into the country to probe allegations over the war.
Speaking to newspaper editors, Sirisena said that a domestic system will be in place by June to investigate the allegations and local laws will be used to take action against anyone found guilty. (Sri Lanka-Denial-Investigation) Endi
