There are around 300 Kazakhstan's citizens involved in international terrorist organizations, said Nurdaulet Suindikov, the official representative of Kazakhstan General-Prosecutor's office, on Tuesday.
According to him, these individuals who support the radical ideology are all known by the special state agencies, and preventive and operative work is being carried out in this respect.
He said the fight against radicals requires to prepare staff to work with people who adhere to the radical ideology. However there are no courses or universities in the country that prepare such specialists.
In order to fight against extremism and terrorism, Kazakhstan's government has designed a state program on combating religious extremism and terrorism for years 2013-2017. Endite
