Spanish stock market rises 0.24 pct

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.24 percent on Monday to close at 11,345 points, up from the 11,317 points of Friday.

Tecnicas Reunidas shares led rises climbing 4.99 percent, followed by BME, Mapfre, Red Electrica and Amadeus which rose 1.99 percent, 1.61 percent, 1.56 percent and 1.45 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 2.50 percent, followed by FCC, Bankia, Sacyr and BBVA which fell 1.18 percent, 0.90 percent, 0.62 percent and 0.50 percent respectively.

Spain's risk premium stood at 121.1 points on Monday at closing time, rising from the 115.20 points of early trading, while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.849 percent by the end of the session.

Monday saw Spain's Finance Minister, Luis de Guindos, say that the country's economy had grown by 3.5 percent in the first semester of the year, while Spanish Minister of Employment, Fatima Banez, said there would be 600,000 more new job opportunities in 2015. Endit
