Chinese female entrepreneurs shared their innovation experience at the Global Summit of Women held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
"By concentrating on your work, you can do it in an outstanding way," said Lu, CEO of Yanbian Livestock Development Corp.
When Lu resigned from China's Ministry of Education and moved to the northeastern prefecture of Yanbian to raise cows, her father told her that the livestock industry was controlled by men and that women couldn't be successful in that field.
But Lu has been raising cows in a new way and achieved success in the field long dominated by men.
She looked for a new channel like e-commerce to sell products all over the country and developed new products with latest technology.
Beef of Lu's company is now a top brand in China, reaching many international hotels in China.
Long Jiangwen, chief of China's delegation and vice president of the China Association of Women Entrepreneurs, said the 40 women entrepreneurs at the summit all do a good job in their fields, such as agriculture, logistics, science, culture, livestock, tourism and food.
Their success depends on their ability to create, said Long.
Long believed that woman's sensitivity to the economy makes them more creative than men.
According to statistics, during the financial storm that started in 2008, companies managed by female leaders lost less money than companies managed by men. That was because women are more sensitive to risk and are faster to respond to market demand.
The world has entered the internet era, which gives women more space to show their talent, Long said.
Irene Natividad, president of the summit, said: "In the past, women were always associated with the word 'fragile,' and now people use the word 'valuable,' because we have the talent to create. Women have stronger abilities in terms of innovation." Endi
