Mild quake hits eastern India states

A 5.7-magnitude quake hit the northern part of the eastern Indian state of West Bengal and the state of Sikkim on Saturday evening. The tremor was felt at 17:05 p.m. local time, the Indian Meteorological Department in-charge in Sikkim told local media. The quake originated in Nepal at a depth of 10 km, he said. There were no reports of any damage or casualty from anywhere in the region. Endi
