14 injured in nursing home fire near Munich

14 people in a nursing home were hurt from smoke inhalation in a fire in the suburb of Munich, fire department of Ottobrunn reported on Saturday.

Four of them suffered badly in the fire, which broke out late Friday evening in the kitchen on the third floor of the nursing home, Bavarian Radio cited source from fire department as reporting.

More than 200 firefighters, rescue workers and police were deployed to the scene. The affected floor is inhospitable any more.

The fire has been put under control, but the cause of the fire is so far still unclear. Endit
