Cross-Strait chiefs to meet in late May

The Chinese mainland's Taiwan affairs chief, Zhang Zhijun, will visit Kinmen County on May 23 to 24 at the invitation of Taiwan's mainland affairs chief, Andrew Hsia, a mainland official said on Friday.

Zhang will meet with Hsia to exchange views on cross-Strait relations and issues concerning the livelihood of people in Kinmen, an island about 2 km from Fujian Province on the mainland, according to Fan Liqing, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office. Endi
