Seoul shares open lower

Seoul shares opened slightly lower on Thursday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) inched down 0.36 points, or 0.02 percent, to trade at 2,113.80 in the first 15 minutes of trading.

The South Korean currency was quoted at 1,094.6 won against the U.S. dollar as of 9:15 a.m. local time, up 5.1 won from Wednesday' s close. Endi
