French stock market index down 1.23 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 1.23 percent at 5,027.87 points on Monday, down 62.52 points.

With the situation in Greece worrying the investors, the CAC 40 closed lower on Monday with 24 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies that gained most on Monday were Lafarge, up 1.37 percent, EDF, up 1.08 percent, and ArcelorMittal, up 1.05 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Monday were Airbus Group, down 2.07 percent, l'Oreal and Orange, both down 1.90 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 2.48 percent at 5,090.39 points, up 123.17 points. Endit
