China's first new media Myanmar version online launched in Yangon

China's first new complete Myanmar version media, Xinhua New Media Myanmar Edition Online, was formally put into run in Yangon on Friday.

Myanmar readers and audiences will be able to read and receive news, news photo and video in Myanmar edition published by Xinhua News Agency through using Myanmar mobile application, Myanmar version website, facebook, youtube, twitter and google plus.

Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Yang Houlan, Permanent Secretary of the Information Ministry U Tint Swe, Vice Chairman of Myanmar- China Friendship Association U Soe Win, noted Myanmar correspondent Poe Thauk Kyar jointly inaugurated Xinhua News Agency's new media Myanmar edition online.

On the occasion, Yang said the successful establishment of the Xinhua new media Myanmar edition online represented a milestone in China-Myanmar information exchange this year, not only facilitating Myanmar audience in reading or receiving news, news photo and video in Myanmar edition, published by Xinhua News Agency, but also contributing to better understanding about China and the world through the new media channel.

The Xinhua New Media Myanmar Edition Online is the first minor language publication media platform among Xinhua's publications. Endi
