Urgent: Israeli PM reaches deal with ultra-rightwing party, secures ruling coalition before deadline

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party reached a coalition agreement with the nationalist Jewish Home party late Tuesday, securing a ruling coalition with a tiny majority in the 120-member parliament, local media reported.

Netanyahu is expected to announce the deal along with Jewish Home leader Naftali Bennett soon, which was clinched hours before the deadline for presenting the coalition expires at midnight Wednsday. Endit
