LME base metals close lower on Wednesday

The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 31 U.S. dollars, or 0.48 percent, to 6,404 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 31 U.S. dollars, or 1.59 percent, to 1,922 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 32 U.S. dollars, or 1.49 percent, to 2,118 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price decreased 16 U.S. dollars, or 0.67 percent, to 2,376 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 227.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.59 percent, to 14,080 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 122.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.75 percent, to 16,127.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
